LAND OF LINCOLN CREDIT UNION PROMOTES HEIDI SCHLABACH TO AVP OF CONSUMER LENDING

Decatur, Illinois, March 3rd, 2025 – Land of Lincoln Credit Union (LLCU) announced that Heidi Schlabach has been promoted to Assistant Vice President of Consumer Lending.

Schlabach will work alongside VP of Consumer Lending, Rashanda Bond Partee, and the rest of LLCU Consumer Loan officers. Her duties will be assisting to oversee loan process, reviewing companywide loan goals, and helping to ensure our loan processes are running efficiently.

"I am excited and honored to step into the role of AVP of Consumer Lending at LLCU. I’m grateful for the support of my colleagues and mentors who have helped me grow along this journey,” says Heidi. “I look forward to continuing to serve our members, enhancing our lending solutions, and contributing to the success of our team.”

Schlabach was born and raised in Mattoon. She is married to Ervin Schlabach, and they have one son, Elijah. Her hobbies include making quilts to donate to be used for fundraisers of organizations near and dear to her heart like: Alzheimer’s Association and St Jude’s. Her family are avid St. Louis Cardinal fans and try to go to as many games as possible.

Heidi has been in the financial industry for 35 years, 12 of those being served at LLCU. Her previous roles include Branch Operations Manager and Branch Sales Manager. Schlabach’s office is located at 720 Broadway Ave. Mattoon, Il.

LAND OF LINCOLN CREDIT UNION EMPLOYEE MICHELLE HARVEY NAMED OAKLAND BRANCH MANAGER

Decatur, Illinois, March 3rd, 2025 – Land of Lincoln Credit Union (LLCU) announced that Michelle Harvey will now serve as Branch Manager at the Oakland Ave. location. Harvey has 31 years of experience in the banking industry and has been with LLCU for 25 years, serving in the following positions: Teller, Teller Supervisor, Mound Rd. Branch Manager, Decatur Operations Manager, and Mortgage & Commercial Loan Processing Manager.

"LLCU’s Oakland branch is our busiest location,” states Jeri Phillips, SVP Chief Member Services Officer. “It takes someone with great knowledge, organization, and leadership skills to keep such a high traffic branch moving smoothly. Michelle exudes all of those skills. She has been such an asset to us in her varying roles and all of that experience will help her excel in this role."

Harvey is a native of Decatur, graduating from MacArthur High School. During her tenure at LLCU, she has earned numerous high achievement awards and education certifications. Her grandchildren keep her busy and she has a true love of baking. Harvey’s office is located at 2890 N. Oakland Ave. in Decatur, Il.

LAND OF LINCOLN CREDIT UNION PROMOTES LYNDA MITCHELL to VICE PRESIDENT INDIRECT LENDING

Decatur, Illinois, March 17th, 2025– Land of Lincoln Credit Union (LLCU) announced that Lynda Mitchell has been promoted to the position of Vice President Indirect Lending. Mitchell will direct and lead all aspects of the Indirect Lending Department. Her role encompasses the oversight of dealer relationships, regulatory compliance, loan growth, and portfolio management for all Indirect Dealer partners throughout all 28 central Illinois counties in the LLCU service areas. Additionally, she will lead the LLCU Indirect Lending support staff.

Mitchell has been with LLCU for five years and has previously held the positions of Consumer Loan Officer and a Branch Manager. Most recently, she served as the LLCU AVP Indirect Lending.

“In this role, I look forward to continuing to grow & strengthen the Indirect Lending Department,” says Lynda. “My focus will continue to be on fostering good strong collaboration with our dealer partners. Together we can offer the highest level of service to our members by providing the opportunity to streamline the auto lending process with a trusted group of automotive professionals.”

Mitchell currently lives in Clinton, IL. She is a graduate of Elmhurst University with a bachelor’s degree. She also attended Jackson State University for graduate studies. Mitchell has over 15 years of auto lending experience, having served as Finance Manager at both Green Nissan and Landmark Auto Group (both of Springfield). She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Illinois Foundation of FCCLA (Family, Career & Community Leaders of America).
