IMPORTANT NEW LLCU POLICY EFFECTIVE APRIL 1, 2024
Did you know that according to a recent report by the FTC (Federal Trade Commission), Americans lost nearly $2.7 billion last year due to “imposter scams”? This type of scam involves a criminal calling a financial institution and posing to be the primary account holder to ultimately gain personal information to later access to your funds. We want to eliminate this threat.
To provide a greater protection to you, we have implemented a new policy that better aligns with account information security standards and best practices. We are no longer providing certain account information over the phone – such as recent transactions, or account balances. Additionally, we will no longer conduct account transactions over the phone. We understand that for some, this will be an inconvenience. We want to make you aware that there are a myriad of ways you can access your account information, both quickly & conveniently. Here are just a few options:
- Enroll in our secure LLCU Online & Mobile Banking. These both use two-factor authentication methods to ensure your information security. You can use LLCU Online & Mobile Banking to easily & quickly check balances & transaction activity, conduct transfers, make remote deposits, and more.
- Access your account information using our Lincoln Line Phone Bank. Enroll for access by calling our Solutions Center at 1-844-222-7788.
- And, of course, we are always ready to serve you at any branch and many basic transactions can be completed at your nearest ATM. Look for the nearest branch by CLICKING HERE.
If you have not already enrolled in Online Banking or Lincoln Line Phone Bank, call or stop by at your earliest convenience.
